Beachbody makes a number of workout programs, including P90X and Power 90. So one thing that I wanted to know as I began researching fitness plans was how are these two routines different?

The original Power 90 program is geared more towards beginners who are looking for a less intense workout. The cardio and sculpting workouts are broken down into two levels, the second level having a longer duration.

P90X is more along the lines of an extreme fitness program. The shortest exercise routine in the P90X system is 60 minutes long it is made up of 12 very high intensity workouts. P90X includes a pre-program fitness test that should actually be taken (and passed) prior to starting the plan.
