Well, it’s been a few weeks now since I began taking the P90X Recovery Drink post-workout. It is a delicious treat that I look forward to at the end of each P90X workout and it comes in two forms, a tub or individual packets (I ordered the tub).
The “P90X Drink” is actually a post-workout recovery drink that is designed to refuel, re-energize, and reduce muscle soreness. The product comes in powder form which you simply mix with water. It mixes up very well (I use a shaker cup) and the texture isn’t thick like a shake — it’s definitely more like a refreshing drink.
Beachbody’s P90X Recovery Drink has a great orange cream flavor and is four parts carbs to one part protein. It provides all of the nutrients that your body needs to recover quickly after the intense P90X workouts.
The P90 Results and Recovery Formula contains:
A serving size is 2 scoops of the powder, mixed with 12 oz. of water. As I mentioned, the P90X Drink powder mixes up easily and all you really need is a sports drink shaker, no blender is necessary.
Each serving contains 220 calories, 1g of fat (no saturated fats), 43g of carbs, 38g or sugar, 10g of protein, and several other vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, etc.
Additional P90X Recovery Drink ingredients: Glucose, Fructose, Whey Protein Concentrate, Maltodextrin, Citric Acid, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Lecithin, L-Arginine, D-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, Creatine Monohydrate, L-Glutamine, Ascorbic Acid, Magnesium Oxide, Potassium Phosphate, Sodium Chloride, Carrageenan, Niacinamide, Beta Carotene, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, and Cyanocobalamin.
If you’re looking for a great tasting, post-workout recovery drink, I highly recommend the P90X Recovery Drink and you can purchase it directly from the official online Beachbody store. By the way, if you want to buy the P90X drink cheap you should consider becoming a Beachbody Coach (you’ll receive a 25% discount on everything you buy from Beachbody).

1I’m debating if I should get this… Did you buy it thru the website? My brother was using whey pro from wally’s [walmart] and iM finishing the jar.

3I also recommend getting the P90X recovery drink, it helps out a lot and I definitely notice a difference when I don’t drink it following a workout.

4I notice whey protein in the ingredients, but I am vegan. What other product(s) would you suggest that would have the same benefits as this Peak Recovery Formula, but not contain milk?
Thank you.
