I went on my first P90X grocery run this morning and bought food for the upcoming week along with a Polar FS3 Heart Rate Monitor Watch. For the first 30 days, I’ll be in the Fat Shredder phase of the P90X nutrition plan. Based on my resting metabolic rate and daily activity burn calculations, I’ll need 2,400 calories a day which puts me in the Level II class.
In Level II during the Fat Shredder phase, you are required to consume the following each day:
Food should be eaten every 2-3 hours and I’m opting for the portion approach, which is great for those who don’t like to cook meals.
I bought a lot of good food at the grocery store, including steaks, tuna, ground turkey, oranges, blueberries, raspberries, skim milk, fat free yogurt, fat free cottage cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, celery, whole wheat bagels, and egg whites.
I’m getting ready to take my pre-P90X measurements and before pictures. I’ll post the photos and stats in a little while…

3Hi! I am on week 2 of P90X and I also fall under Level II. I tried to eat all the stuff on that you listed up there throughout the day but it just seem like way too much food. Are you eating everything every day?

6hi i really thinking about ordering P90X but i wanted to know more about the meal program. i a vegan. i do not eat meat nor fish, no diary, no chesse nor eggs. i wanted to know would P90X still work for me. i already have a hard to getting the protein i need now to maintain muscle, and since this program seem to be high on protein would it work for me.
