Today is day 42 of P90X which means it’s the end of week 5 and time to update my P90X before and after pictures and measurements. I was excited to see my results from the day 35 P90X photos, and I was really looking forward to today…
This week went really well overall. I feel like I really progressed with the ab workouts and my overall conditioning is getting better by the day. Another positive to take away from this week is that I didn’t have any feelings of nausea (whew).
I had another great week with the P90X nutrition plan and find eating clean to be pretty easy now. I really don’t have any cravings for junk food unless I’m either way stressed out, or put in a “challenging” environment where I’m bombarded with great smelling food. I haven’t cheated the diet plan at all and I credit a lot of the results I’ve seen up to this point with that.
So without further ado, here are my P90X day 42 photos…
And here are the side by side comparison photos of day 1 and day 42…
And here are my measurements after 5 weeks of P90X:
As you can see there were no dramatic improvements since last week’s measurements, but I did lose another pound and my body fat percentage dropped slightly. Also, there was an improvement in my resting heart rate…
Thanks again to everyone for reading the blog and posting your comments and encouragement, it really inspires me and helps to keep me accountable. Stay tuned!

1Great work! Amazing results and you aren’t even halfway done. I really enjoy follow your blog – it is a great source of inspiration.
Are you using a coach from the beachbody site, or going at it solo?

2@jayjayjajo: Thanks, I still have a long way to go but I’m seeing some pretty exciting progress so far…
I’ve been going at this on my own and actually just signed up to be a Beachbody coach. If you’re interested in becoming a coach also and haven’t done so already, you can sign up here: https://www.fatlossblogger.com/coaching
Thanks for the comment and keep crankin’!

6@Vilma: Thanks!
You’re going to love the P90X program, it does take a lot of dedication but it’s really worthwhile. Be sure to drop me a line when you get started. 🙂

7P90X is something I may try in the future, when I am more healed up. I have Power90, but even that takes too much of a toll on my feet at a half hour. I’m thinking maybe the 10 minute Trainer series might be the best place for me to start.
Your results are looking good!

8@Cynthia: Thanks! The P90X program is really intense and if Power90 is bothering you a bit, 10 Minute Trainer probably would be a good alternative…
Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

Was planning on going out tomorrow to buy the P90X package so I thought I’d do some final investigating and that is how I found your blog…very inspirational and I am even more excited now about starting the program.
Keep up the great work!

12Did you have to purchase special equipment? If so, was it expensive?
