Today is day 10 of my P90X journey and I hit arms, shoulders and abs today. I took a somewhat different approach to the workout today and instead of simply working to failure and stopping, I paused the DVD and took as much time as needed to finish all reps of each exercise…

The workout went great today and I completed all of the reps on all exercises for the first time. I may have set the record for the longest P90X workout with all of the pausing that was going on, but hey, I finished. Also, I didn’t get sick during the Ab Ripper X video today so that was a welcomed bonus.

In the kitchen, I’m still cranking with the P90X diet plan. Here is what I ate/am eating today:

Meal 1: 6 egg white omelet, fresh sliced cucumber, glass of skim milk, whole wheat bagel

Snack: Low fat string cheese

Meal 2: Tuna, glass of skim milk with olive oil, glass of low-sodium V8

Snack: Unsalted soybean nuts

Meal 3: Canned salmon, fat free yogurt with blueberries and strawberries, tomato

Snack: Natural peanut butter and celery sticks

Pre-bedtime: Protein shake and glass of low-sodium V8

I also had a whey protein shake mixed with water and a glass of grape juice immediately after my workout…
