One of the first questions that many people ask after seeing the P90X infomercial for the very first time is, “Is P90X worth it?”…
Seeing those incredible results and hearing the exciting success stories is definitely motivating, but more often than not it leaves people wondering if the P90X workout is truly for real.If you’re in that boat — don’t worry, you’re not alone. Being skeptical of stuff that’s advertised on a TV infomercial is totally normal (and very common).
In this brief post, we’ll take a closer look at the popular P90X home fitness program and try to put this question to rest once and for all.
P90X is a full-body home exercise program that was designed by Beachbody and fitness guru Tony Horton to get you in the best shape of your life in only 90 days. The really special thing about the P90X DVD program is the fact that you don’t need a bunch of weights or an expensive gym membership to get fit — basically, all you need is a pullup bar, a set of dumbbells (or resistance bands), and a DVD player.
The P90X program is laid out in an easy to follow manner, and each video workout is delivered on a separate DVD. With P90X, you can work out anytime, anywhere — simply pop in a DVD and press play.
If you’ve ever tried a home working video in the past, there’s a good chance that you were left with feelings of disappointment. Most home exercise programs fall short when it comes to delivering results, leaving many with the impression that it just isn’t possible to get super fit from home.
With P90X however, nothing could be further from the truth.
P90X isn’t your average, everyday home fitness program — and if you’re worried about a P90X scam, you can relax. This program is the real deal.
In a nutshell, P90X is an ultra-intense, 90 day “bootcamp” that will push you to your limits and beyond during each and every workout. P90X also includes a complete diet and nutrition plan that reveals exactly what to eat, how much to eat, and when to eat it. With the P90X exercise program, there is not guesswork — everything is laid out for you in step-by-step, blueprint fashion.
The real magic behind the amazing results that P90X is capable of producing lies in the concept of “muscle confusion”. Because P90X combines elements of strength training, kenpo karate, plyometrics, and cardio into the program, it forces the body to constantly adapt. Add to this the fact that new workouts are introduced every few weeks, and the end result is a program that is capable of producing some very impressive before and after pictures!
To really answer this question, it helps to first take a look at the alternatives to P90X. Whether that comes in the form of a monthly fitness club membership, expensive personal training sessions, or an extensive home gym setup — P90X is the obvious choice if you’re looking for an affordable way to get fit. Add to this the fact that following the 90 day P90X program will undoubtedly produce far superior results than any of the alternatives mentioned above, and it truly is a no-brainer.
The bottom line is, there has never been an easier, more affordable, and more effective way to get in shape than P90X.

1As someone who has completed the 90 day P90X workout, I can say without a doubt that P90X is definitely worth it. I’m in the best shape of my life, and haven’t spent a dime on home gym machines or fitness club memberships to get there… highly recommended.

2I too can attest to the validity of P90X. It changed my life, plain and simple. For those that are willing to do the work, and take it seriously they can have a remarkable transformation that will skyrocket their energy and self-esteem to a whole new level.

3I’ve also tried P90x. I must say I think it’s working. I feel a lot better and I’m starting to look better. Most of all I’m saving a ton on gym memberships!

5You bet it is worth it. Today is day 25 and I see the results. I am a little discourage b/c of a small weight gain but my body is still hurting so I know that P90x is still working. The weight gain – well, I’m a woman and we are all subject to fluctuations. I’ve read that it is phase II where you will really see a difference. Any thoughts?
Someone said yesterday to me, “$150, that is alot to spend!” It is the best 150 I have spent in a while and I don’t have to drag myself out in the freezing cold winter.
