I bought slim in 6 about 3 years ago but wasn't serious enough to actually do the work. About 15 months ago I started improving my life style, eating better and exercising regularly. Since than I've lost a little over 90 lbs. I'm trying to lose 15 more lbs and came across my dusty slim in 6 set and decided to give it another shot because this time I'm serious. I've only done 3 days of it, my legs are soar along w a little bit of abs and my arm pits. I think if i hadn't been working out prior to trying this I'd be hurting. I promised myself I'm going to try not looking at the scale and instead concentrate on how my clothing fits. I just recently got engaged and I refuse to look nothing but amazing come my big day. I'm not following the diet plan that came w it I'll take some pointer but I've already got something that works great. Good luck to all also try to reach healthy goals:)!!!

hi. I just bought the slim in 6 workout and was wondering if following the diet plan was a must ? or if it would still work if I cut back bad eating habits and cut down calories. thanks!

I started Slim in 6 in October 2010. I have had amazing results so far! I definitely have not become Slim in 6 (weeks) but hoping to be slim in 6 months. So far I have lost 24 pounds and several inches. Lost all the weight I have gained in my most recent pregnancy (had the baby June 2010) and am looking forward to losing 20 more pounds that I gained from my first pregnancy. This has been the only program that I have tried that has worked for me. Shortly After starting "start it up" I could really feel the results, felt myself getting toned. Now I'm really seeing results and I'm still just doing Ramp it up. Thank-you Slim in 6, worth every penny!

I started the program today and I love it so far. The only major problem I have with it is the higher impact exercises. There are only a few squats and stuff like that where I can literally hear the cartilage in my knee popping and grinding. I'm 18 but I have a history of dislocations (hence flabby grossness from limited activity to avoid injury). However for someone without my particular issue I'm sure it would be absolutely perfect!

I ordered slim n six about eight days ago and now and I'm patiently waiting for the dvd's to arrive. Currently I weight 158 pounds and I'm 5' 3" tall. This coming summer I'm in my best friends wedding, so I would like to loose at least twenty pounds prior to the wedding. Also this year I'm turing thirty and I would like to tone up, loose weight and feel better about my self. Well wish me look I should recieve the package in the mail in the next couple of days....

I did the Burn it up for a month and went down 4 pant sizes and lost inches overall everywhere! It's an awesome work out but make sure to stretch before you do this work out. I made the mistake of not stretching and injured my knee, took some time off but am back to doing the video. Had success just doing the burn it up.

I tried this about a year ago and I remembered it worked remarkably with me. Like a lot of other people have said before me, it IS realllly repetitive, but after doing the routines so many times, I knew it so well, so I would just mute it and play some music as I work out. It is hard and does push you, especially if you are just starting out. I saw the results pretty rapidly, but really only in my legs. As someone else mentioned, I don't think the program focused enough on the upper body, but Slim in 6 Pack is amazing! I've done a lot of other workouts before including P90 and P90X but I always resorted back to Slim in 6 pack because it worked me hard and made me feel great. As for diet wise, I don't exactly like to diet, but I just made sure not to eat anything too fattening like microwavable dishes and fast food. Aside from that, I pretty much ate what I regularly eat and I still saw results. All in all, I believe you should give slim in 6 a try. I find it's that workout that you always seem to come back to.

Ok, S I just started slim in six today(10-6-10) and I thought I was gonna pass out. WHEW>>>I am a 31 yr old mom of 2 wonderful lil girls. But I am completely out of shape. I am gonna keep goin everyday and I will keep my posts coming. I done all the measuring and weighing and I took picture (Which I am not very happy with). But we will see how much I can shape up in the weeks to come.

Wow! I'm so happy to read that so many people are enjoying Slim in 6. I bought this program over a year ago and am still on the Ramp it Up stage. I would start the program and then put it down, again and again. I wasn't so concerned about losing weight as I was about clearing my head and overcoming emotional issues. After trying different exercise programs I found that this one is the best because, though I broke into a sweat each time, I never felt burnt out and out of breath. I am now working my way through Ramp it Up, making sure my health can handle moving on. I definitely am seeing results and I'm not even doing it faithfully. I would def recommend this program to anyone.

Hey guys so I am a HUGE fan of slim in six. In the past 8 months I've lost 50 pounds and tons of inches. After 2 rounds of slim in 6 I found myself getting bored so my boyfriend gave me Power 90. So now I use a combination of both videos to keep things interesting. I mix and match each week and it's really helped me stay motivated.

Hey, I am sixteen years old and I had saved up my money (from working at Tim Hortons lol) and finally bought the slim six program.

I have completed all six weeks and had awesome results!

When I started I was 137 pounds (I'm 5'6" by the way) and before you start thinking that my weight was okay, it wasn't. (For example, my waist size was 44 inches)
The problem was that first of all I had absolutely no muscle whatsoever. I used to be athletic, but after tearing a ligament in my knee when I was about twelve, I had become a lazy cow :P

Another problem was, was that I did not wear my fat well at ALL it gathered in many unattractive places and also left many places, like my legs, way too skinny and not proportionate to the rest of my body.

After completing the program I am now 128 pounds, and I look great! I swapped all that fat for lean muscle! ANDDDD I completed it just in time to see my Dad when he came and visited a few weeks ago from the states :D

It was the first time I have ever heard him call me beautiful since he moved away :]

It was an AWESOME program and I totally recommend it!

i am 57 and on week 7. I have stuck to the start it up and cardio core express. I have lost 5 lbs. Wanted to lose way more though. Guess it is because of my age and only really want to lose 10 more lbs. i have lost 2 inches in my waist, 1 in my hips and 1 in my thighs. I am on a 1200 calorie diet per the instruction folder.

i am dreading it, but i suppose i need to go to ramp it up this week. I love this workout program!!!

I am into week four of Slim in 6. I found Start it Up difficult for the first few days then moved into Burn It Up for weeks 2 and 3. Burn It Up since the beginning of week 4. I have lost 2 pounds (not much, I know) and a little off of each thigh. At first I found the program BORING but then once I started realizing that I really AM getting stronger each time I began focusing on the muscles and it's enough to keep me motivated. There are a few places in the Burn It Up where I can't complete all of the reps yet but each time I push myself to do more. I think I need to add an extra session of cardio to lose the weight and fat I need to lose, but I feel myself getting more fit every day. I love doing Zumba so I'll probably add that back into my workouts...not sure when I'll find the time but since I enjoy it so much I will do my best to FIND the time. Thinking of trying TurboJam also -- I've heard great things about it.

I love doing Zumba so I’ll probably add that back into my workouts…not sure when I’ll find the time but since I enjoy it so much I will do my best to FIND the time. Thinking of trying TurboJam also — I’ve heard great things about it.

I've never put a review in for anything before, but this program has definitely earned it. I just finished my first Start It Up workout, and wow it's intense. I will keep everyone updated, but so far I'm impressed.

Good luck guys! We can do it!

On day 2 of the video. Just wondering if I can do Start it up for the 1st week plus 20 min. on the gazelle. Or would the gazelle cardio ruin the slim in 6 training?

Thanks

I agree with what everyone else has been saying. This program is great, and even if you're someone who doesn't end up losing that much weight from it you will notice that you're much more toned.

A lot of the weight issue is the fact that some people have bodies that will put on more muscles than others. It won't look like you've gained muscle (this is a toning program after all), but it might effect your weight loss since muscle weighs more than fat. You will look healthier and less flabby at the end of the program.

I also agree with the fact that while the moves aren't difficult to learn the program itself is intense! You have to be willing to work. I personally was already a pretty healthy eater. I don't drink sodas. I only indulge in junk food maybe once a month, so I didn't feel a need to follow the diet.

I also didn't order any supplements except for the multivitamin (and that's just because it's a good thing to take a multivitamin everyday).

So, it's hard work, but it'll pay off if you stick to it. Also, it gets incredibly boring, so personally I wait until one of my favorite television shows is on then pop the workout dvds into my laptop and workout with the laptop to one side while watching tv. It makes crunches more fun that's for sure!
