Wow! I'm so happy to read that so many people are enjoying Slim in 6. I bought this program over a year ago and am still on the Ramp it Up stage. I would start the program and then put it down, again and again. I wasn't so concerned about losing weight as I was about clearing my head and overcoming emotional issues. After trying different exercise programs I found that this one is the best because, though I broke into a sweat each time, I never felt burnt out and out of breath. I am now working my way through Ramp it Up, making sure my health can handle moving on. I definitely am seeing results and I'm not even doing it faithfully. I would def recommend this program to anyone.

Hey guys so I am a HUGE fan of slim in six. In the past 8 months I've lost 50 pounds and tons of inches. After 2 rounds of slim in 6 I found myself getting bored so my boyfriend gave me Power 90. So now I use a combination of both videos to keep things interesting. I mix and match each week and it's really helped me stay motivated.

Hey, I am sixteen years old and I had saved up my money (from working at Tim Hortons lol) and finally bought the slim six program.

I have completed all six weeks and had awesome results!

When I started I was 137 pounds (I'm 5'6" by the way) and before you start thinking that my weight was okay, it wasn't. (For example, my waist size was 44 inches)
The problem was that first of all I had absolutely no muscle whatsoever. I used to be athletic, but after tearing a ligament in my knee when I was about twelve, I had become a lazy cow :P

Another problem was, was that I did not wear my fat well at ALL it gathered in many unattractive places and also left many places, like my legs, way too skinny and not proportionate to the rest of my body.

After completing the program I am now 128 pounds, and I look great! I swapped all that fat for lean muscle! ANDDDD I completed it just in time to see my Dad when he came and visited a few weeks ago from the states :D

It was the first time I have ever heard him call me beautiful since he moved away :]

It was an AWESOME program and I totally recommend it!

i am 57 and on week 7. I have stuck to the start it up and cardio core express. I have lost 5 lbs. Wanted to lose way more though. Guess it is because of my age and only really want to lose 10 more lbs. i have lost 2 inches in my waist, 1 in my hips and 1 in my thighs. I am on a 1200 calorie diet per the instruction folder.

i am dreading it, but i suppose i need to go to ramp it up this week. I love this workout program!!!

I am into week four of Slim in 6. I found Start it Up difficult for the first few days then moved into Burn It Up for weeks 2 and 3. Burn It Up since the beginning of week 4. I have lost 2 pounds (not much, I know) and a little off of each thigh. At first I found the program BORING but then once I started realizing that I really AM getting stronger each time I began focusing on the muscles and it's enough to keep me motivated. There are a few places in the Burn It Up where I can't complete all of the reps yet but each time I push myself to do more. I think I need to add an extra session of cardio to lose the weight and fat I need to lose, but I feel myself getting more fit every day. I love doing Zumba so I'll probably add that back into my workouts...not sure when I'll find the time but since I enjoy it so much I will do my best to FIND the time. Thinking of trying TurboJam also -- I've heard great things about it.

I've never put a review in for anything before, but this program has definitely earned it. I just finished my first Start It Up workout, and wow it's intense. I will keep everyone updated, but so far I'm impressed.

Good luck guys! We can do it!

On day 2 of the video. Just wondering if I can do Start it up for the 1st week plus 20 min. on the gazelle. Or would the gazelle cardio ruin the slim in 6 training?

Thanks

I agree with what everyone else has been saying. This program is great, and even if you're someone who doesn't end up losing that much weight from it you will notice that you're much more toned.

A lot of the weight issue is the fact that some people have bodies that will put on more muscles than others. It won't look like you've gained muscle (this is a toning program after all), but it might effect your weight loss since muscle weighs more than fat. You will look healthier and less flabby at the end of the program.

I also agree with the fact that while the moves aren't difficult to learn the program itself is intense! You have to be willing to work. I personally was already a pretty healthy eater. I don't drink sodas. I only indulge in junk food maybe once a month, so I didn't feel a need to follow the diet.

I also didn't order any supplements except for the multivitamin (and that's just because it's a good thing to take a multivitamin everyday).

So, it's hard work, but it'll pay off if you stick to it. Also, it gets incredibly boring, so personally I wait until one of my favorite television shows is on then pop the workout dvds into my laptop and workout with the laptop to one side while watching tv. It makes crunches more fun that's for sure!

I purchased slim in 6 and had to stop before I got to the last disk. However I see a difference. My questions are-

1) Since I am starting back again, do I start from the beginning or where I left off from (it's been about 2 months)

2) Once I finish my 6 weeks and go on to round 2, do you start from disk 2 and move up, or just the last disk for another 6 week mixed in with the bonus videos?

I want to do this right, with good results. Fortunately the month off did not result in any negative effects, but I don't wan to tempt fate LOL

Hi, I'm 23 and I am not overweight, I'm actually at a pretty good weight, I just want to get toned...I have this weird muffin top thing and I have cellulite (GROSS) on my things and a little on my butt, even though I am about 5'6, I weigh around 125-130 (I only weigh myself like once a month, sometimes less than that, but it's always in between there) and I wear a size 26 or 27, which translates to a 2 or a 4. From what I've read, it seems like this is a good program for me, but I don't necessarily want to lose too much weight (if I lost 10 lbs or more I'd be sick), I just want my hips and my thighs to get smaller. Is this ok for me? Has anyone else who is small already tried this?

I just ordered this today. One thing that stuck me while ordering online was the special offers/extra packages they go on and on offering before you get to the final order confirmation!!!

Thanks for all those who took time to comment here as it was one of the major driver for me to decide on getting this package.

Now waiting for it to arrive and hoping Slim in 6 delivers what's promised and I'm able to be truthful to its demands :)

I just ordered Slim in 6 today and I don't think I have ever been this excited about a program before. I've been sick and just started working out again in earnest so I am used to exercise and expect noticeable results-my body responds very quickly. What I feel that I am lacking is the structure of a program and I am hoping Slim in 6 will provide that for me. I appreciate all the reviews here that have given me an even better feeling about the program. Thanks!

Everyone that has just started Slim in 6, hang in there... yeah sometimes it's a real bitch to stay motivated once you get into the ramp it up and burn it up phases, and you'll want to punch Debbie in the head but it will be worth it. When I first started, in my first week I lost 15 lbs. No kidding then it was a steady 3 lbs a week for the next 5 weeks. Sounds impossible but it's no lie, 30lbs and over 11 inches. I bought my first 32 waist in over ten years, that was pretty damn exciting.

Keep in mind if you really want to see the results, you will have to change your diet with the working out, I stopped keeping pop in the house, I only ate until I wasn't hungry (not full), so sometimes I ate several times a day, but kept low calories, I didn't pay attention to all the other stuff like trans fats, carbs ect, just calories. You will be amazed at the calories you normally consumed with out every paying attention to them, and you will begin to understand how you packed on the pounds, and when you see that, it wont be hard to adjust intake. I didn't give anything up, I just made sure I didn't go hog wild with portion size.

Don't forget to take your pictures... I really didn't start to see what others did until 5 weeks. And remember don't give up..I know it's called slim in 6, but the reality of it is, is that it took longer than 6 weeks to get where we are , and it will take longer than 6 weeks to get where we want to be, I am starting on week 8 now trying to peel off the last 15 I'd like to lose, and have no doubts i'll get there. If you say your having a hard time finding time to work out..thats just an excuse....everyone can find an hour...stay off the computer, the couch will be there when your done, the list goes on.....but do not give up!

I just ordered my Slim in 6 workout a few days ago. I'm impatiently awaiting its arrival! I've done my research and found enough positive reviews to give it a chance. Two kids later, I'm not quite the hot momma I want to be. I've been losing weight on my own, about 45 lbs now and need something to ramp it up a bit. I've got about 45 more lbs to go.

Hey Everyone!!! Well it's really late and I'm watching infomercials of Slim In 6 and I would love to order it but I'm just worried that it's not possible. I've been married for almost 3 years and my in-laws eat like CRAZY but no one is over weight, but poor old me gained a lot of weight. I would really love to lose a good 50 lbs if possible and get back to my old weight and size!!!!! Is the being realistic or am I just nut's???? I don't mind doing the same thing over again so that's a plus I suppose and I'm also going to get the AB Rocket to do on "rest days". If anyone has any advice please share I'm open to anything !!!! Thanks for reading and GOOD LUCK to everyone else. :)

As soon as I started Slim in 6, I saw results. So far, I've lost 15 lbs and two sizes. Granted, I have changed my lifestyle: I refuse to throw away a great workout by eating a cheeseburger, and I haven't touched fried food since I started seeing Debbie regularly. :) I also run 2-3 miles every other day along with the workout so I don’t get bored. I do take it a little easy on the weekends; I usually rest Saturday and Sunday, while going out to dinner one night. I am almost to my size 6, 135 lb. goal (I am 5'6 and 26 years old). It is so fantastic. My sister is a marathon runner and SHE even asked ME what workout I was doing and bought the series! She keeps raving about it, too. My advice to those of you contemplating buying this is BE PREPARED TO WORK. You will not get great results if you do not work hard with this program. It is not easy. You sweat and get sore. If you are willing to put the work in, get this program. You won't be sorry.
