Well, I’m 18 days into the P90X program now. Time flies when you’re having fun…
Today’s workout DVD was Yoga X and I’m definitely starting to get the hang of yoga. I’m still having problems with some of the more advanced positions, especially the ones which require crazy acrobat-like balance, but things are coming along nicely.
Another thing that I’m having a little difficulty with is the downward dog position. For some reason, my hands have a tendency to slip forward on the yoga mat and it drives me nuts. I’ve tried several different yoga mats hoping to find one with better grip, but no dice as of yet. If anyone has any advice, I’m all ears…
The P90X nutrition plan went well again today and I’m still staying on track.
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s update, it should be an interesting one as legs, back and abs nearly killed me the past few weeks!

3Hi friend!!! LOL! Well, the videos should be here today. I’ll have to look over the diet and head to the grocery store. I’m working my first of five night shifts in a row (7pm-7am). I don’t know when I’ll start. I hear you have to eat before working out or you’ll die. So, we will have to see with my schedule and all. I can’t wait for your results pics for day 21! This is awesome! I’ve ‘youtubed’ quite a few results videos. They’re so amazing. I’m nervous and pumped to get started! I’ll keep you informed. Congrats on sticking with it so well!

4@Heather: That’s exciting! Actually, I don’t eat for an hour and a half prior to workout out due to nausea. This program is really intense and I’ve found that I get sick if I have food in my system…
I’m on YouTube as well, be sure to subscribe to my videos (user FatLossBlogger). I post new videos each day.
Congrats again on joining the club and I’m looking forward to seeing your progress!

5I have the same problem with yoga. A friend told me to try Yoga Paws. I haven’t tried them yet but you might want to give them a look. Looking at the yoga paws, my old weight lifting gloves with neoprene palms would probably have worked. I changed brands though last time so my current lifting gloves don’t have that much grip but that’s another idea.

6@SW: I’ll check those out, that’s the first I’ve heard of them. I’ve also been told that using antiperspirant on the hands prior to doing the yoga routine helps too…
