Well, it’s officially official. I love yoga…
Today was day 27 of my P90X fitness journey and I completed the Yoga X routine again. I’ve come a long way since the first time I attempted the yoga workout. As I’ve mentioned before, it’s definitely something that looks a whole lot easier than it is — but once you start to get the hang of it, it’s awesome!
It doesn’t take too long before you begin to appreciate why yoga plays such an important role in an intense exercise program like P90X. Sure, a lot of people think that yoga is a wacky ritual that is reserved for the strangest of the strange — but it’s the real deal. I honestly don’t know if my body has ever felt this good before.
I had another great day of clean eating today and I’m really excited about tomorrow because it’s time to take my week four pictures and measurements. Picture day is always really motivating for me, even if the changes are only gradual from week to week.
Well, that’s it for today’s update. Stay tuned for my week four photos and measurements tomorrow and thanks again for all of the encouraging comments!

2Looking forward to the new pictures. I did my first day of P90X today with my brother. I struggled but I can tell this is gonna work. I don’t think the nutrition plan is gonna work out for me though, because my parents buy all the groceries and I can’t afford to get them. I’m not gonna be eating any junk food anymore though.

4@John: That’s awesome, congrats! I would really, really encourage you to follow the nutrition plan though — it will play a big role in the kind of results you see.
Ask your parents if they would consider buying you canned tuna, fat free cottage cheese, fat free yogurt, baby carrots, cucumbers, celery, natural peanut butter, egg whites, whole wheat bagles, chicken breast, and low-sodium V8. I basically eat those foods everyday with the portion approach and I really don’t spend any time at all cooking in the kitchen. The only thing that needs cooked (other than my egg white omelets in the morning) is the chicken breast, and I just throw it on the George Foreman Grill for a few minutes.
Hope that helps, keep me posted.
