Today was day 51 of P90X and the workout was plyometrics…
Plyo gave me some problems today, but I made it through it in one piece. The diet continues to go well, there really isn’t anything new to report in that department.
Listen, if you’re unhappy right now with your current weight, fitness level, or physical appearance — I urge you to do something about it. Get a fitness plan together, whether it be P90X or something else, and get busy.
You know, it can be pretty difficult to change bad habits. But once you stick with something long enough to begin seeing results, there’s no turning back.
I’ve spent a considerable amount of time over the past week or so appreciating the progress I’ve seen since beginning P90X, and I’m amazed at how this program has changed my life for the better…
Here are just a few things I’ve experienced:
Seriously though, make a commitment to yourself. Dig down deep and find that one thing that really motivates you to want to get into shape, and use that to get you where you need to be. It’s not difficult and it definitely isn’t rocket science, you simply need to have a solid plan and then stick to it.
I certainly have a long way to go personally, but if there’s anything that I can do to help get you off the fence and moving towards your goals — please let me know.
Don’t procrastinate and put something as important as this off another week, or month or year. Make this the week that you begin your transformation…

1Thanks for the encouraging post. I’ve been wanting to lose weight for over a year now but keep putting it off. Well, after reading this post I realized that the time is now so I just ordered P90X and am going to get stared as soon as it arrives.
Thanks again. I know it’s going to be difficult but I’m ready to do this!

3Hi –
Well, your motivating posts have pushed me over the edge… I just received my P90X kit and I’m going to get going on Day 1 pretty soon… I just need to figure out the diet and nutrition plan part before really jumping in.
Hope you enjoyed your vacation – keep up the posting and hard work. Hopefully I can get the results like you and everyone else too. Wish me luck 🙂

4@Peter: I’m so glad to hear that. Take some time now to really go through all of the material and get your diet laid out…
Drop me a line after you get started and let me know how everything is going. Congrats!!

5so, you recomend the program? If so does it matter if i get weight resistance bands or dumbells, and if so what weight on those dumbells?

6@jonathan: Yes, I highly recommend P90X. I personally prefer to use weights, but you can still get a great workout with resistance bands… it’s completely up to you.

7I’ve just finished my first week of P90X. This program lays you out, but then makes you come back for more.
In response to Jonathan’s question about bands vs. bells, I say get both. Maybe you don’t want to take it from a girl…but some of these moves are killer. The bands may be a better place to start. You can always trade up – something Tony will continually encourage throughout a given routine.
I’m a vegetarian trying to follow the nutrition plan – talk about a challenge!
