I started using HHAbs back in Jan 2008 to ty to get into a size 18 bridesmaids dress in June. At the time, I was 185 lbs. I worked out 5-6 days a week. I didn't follow the slim down plan, but I did start eating much healthier with smaller portions. Every week I would try on my dress to see if it fit, and every week, I would notice that the zip would close just an inch higher every time. By the time the wedding came, not only did I fit into my dress, but I had to get it altered to to a size 12! I lost 30 lbs, and 37" all over my body.

I've recently gone back on HipHOp Abs to get rid of weight gained from Christmas and 2 all-inclusive cruises. So far, I've lost 17 lbs since this past January, and I'm officially a size 8 again!

So do I love Hip Hop Abs??? Hell ya!! :)

-----------------------------------------------------
PAM: So I wouldn't worry about not having the 6 day slim down stuff. Just make healtier choices, eat smaller meals throughout the day, and drink lots of water.

AIN: If you've just started using HHA, and you're not normally a "exercise-type person" with a lot of weight to lose, I would suggest you just start with dvd's first. Then, when your body starts getting stronger, you will have the energy to do other cardio exercises like using the treadmill. That's what I did. If you're really overweight, you won't be able to see the physically results right away. But you should definitely feel your core getting stronger. Give it a few weeks, and if you keep it up, you will definitely start noticing that your clothes are fitting better! GOOD LUCK!

I just got Hip Hop Abs as a Christmas gift (yes I asked for it) but the set did not have the nutrition guide or the 6 day slim down. The gift giver does not remember where she got it so ... I would really like to get those two items any suggestions??

Hey!! i just started my hip hops ab yesterday and im really looking forward to see the results coz i really want to get rid of my belly fat!!

but im a bit worried coz i think i dont properly incorporate the dancing technique required that secrets to flat abs one - i guess that tuck thingy is difficultt for me or i may be i dont think im doing it correctly coz i cant really see the difference on my stomach due to my weight!! Any suggestions??

plus i am not going to follow that 6 day slim programme coz i m not in favour of using any supplements or protein drinks!!

hope it works for me..do we need to add cardio exercises in daily routine like treadmill etc to see more effective results?? i thought this programme should do it without having us to do that boring treadmill everyday!!

Hope to receive a reply soon - thankx in advance and all the best to all of u there who are trying this!!

I started Hip Hop Abs last month and so far I'm really enjoying it. I'm not a huge fan of expensive health club memberships and I'm a busy mom of 2, so I really just wanted to find a fun and effective way to workout at home. HipHopAbs is a great way to get defined at home abs and the routines and dances are very easy to follow. It's much cheaper than all of the cheesy ab fitness equipment you see out there, and it is definitely working for me. I recommend it!
