In addition to the “Lean” schedule, there are two more ways that you can go through the 90 day program:

1. P90X Schedule – Classic
2. P90X Schedule – Doubles

The P90X fitness program definitely requires a high level of commitment and dedication, so it’s helpful to have a good idea of what your daily workout schedule will be before starting the program.

The 90 day “Lean” P90X workout schedule is broken down into three chunks: Weeks 1-4, weeks 5-8, and weeks 9-12. Each monthlong section consists of 3 weeks of hard training, followed by a recovery week. Always remember, in order to see the best P90X results, it’s absolutely vital that you stick to the schedule exactly as it’s laid out.

In addition to the “Doubles” schedule, there are two more ways to go through the program:

1. P90X Schedule – Classic
2. P90X Schedule – Lean

The P90X exercise program requires a certain level of dedication and commitment, so it’s good to have an idea of what your daily workout schedule will be prior to starting the workouts.

The 90 day “Doubles” P90X workout schedule is divided into three sections: Weeks 1-4, weeks 5-8, and weeks 9-12. Each segment consists of 3 weeks of hard training, followed by a recovery week.

The first block of the schedule is identical to the “Classic” program. However, in the second month there are three morning Cardio X workouts added each week and in the final month there are four weekly Cardio X workouts added.

This is a very demanding workout schedule and following it won’t always be easy. Just remember, in order to get the best P90X results possible — it’s important to stick to the plan exactly as it’s laid out.

So what if you’re incredibly busy but still want to use P90X to get fit?

In this article, we’ll go over several ways to make time for your P90X exercise program workouts. Hopefully these tips will prove to be helpful as you’re juggling P90X and other time-consuming commitments.

First of all, it’s important to eliminate all excuses. Before you even begin P90X, make a decision to fit your daily workouts in — no matter what. Removing the option of procrastination is half the battle.

Secondly, cut back on TV time. Statistics show that most adults spend between 4 and 5 hours a day in front of the television. Watching TV can be a good way to wind down after a hectic day, but watching it for hours on end is extremely unproductive.

Last but not least, become a morning person! Studies have shown that people who exercise first thing in the morning are more likely to stick to their workout programs. Getting P90X out of the way early every day will prevent unexpected daily occurrences from taking priority over your workouts.

Hopefully these time management tips will come in handy when it comes to finding time for the P90X exercise program. Keep pushing play!

There are many people who buy P90X with the intention of getting super fit, but many end up failing despite the fact that this incredible 90 day workout program has been proven time and time again to be ultra-effective. So where do things go wrong?

In this brief article, we’ll take a look at some common pitfalls that many P90X users fall victim to and discuss how you can get the most out of your 90 day workout program. Hopefully these tips will assist you in meeting your fitness and weight loss goals…

The first trap that many fall into when it comes to home fitness programs is setting aside a time to workout. Let’s face it — in today’s day and age we’re busier than ever, which is why it’s so vital that you set aside time each and every day to exercise.

Another area where many people really drop the ball is diet. If you truly want to maximize the results from your 90 day workout, then it’s important to follow the program exactly as it’s laid out — and this includes the nutrition aspect. When it comes to P90X, I’m a firm believer that the P90X Nutrition Plan is every bit as important as the actual workouts. Don’t sell yourself short by cheating on the diet program.

Last but not least, I highly recommend that you go back and read my post on how to make money with P90X. Beachbody offers a very unique business opportunity that actually allows you to get paid while you get in shape. If you play your cards right (which I can help you with), it’s possible to develop a substantial side income and get fit at the same time. If you’re interested in learning how to do this, shoot me an email at p90xquestions <<at>> gmail <<dot>> com.

Hopefully this quick article has given you some helpful tips on how to get the most out of your P90X 90 day workout. As always — if you have questions or comments, fire away. I would love to hear them…

I just received an email from a reader who wants to get in shape, but he’s too busy for P90X…

Question: I’m thinking about buying P90X, but it’s saying I need an hour a day and I just don’t have more than 30-45”, max. Would this amount of time be sufficient? I’m willing to take more time to get in better shape, just wondering if the entire hour is required, or just suggested. Thanks…

Answer: Thanks for the question…

That’s the one thing about P90X, it does require a bit more time than other fitness programs. Would it be possible to do an hour every other day? If so, you could simply turn P90X into a 180 day program and workout every other day instead of daily.

Another option would be to try Beachbody’s 10 Minute Trainer program, which allows you to get a nice workout in in 10 minutes a day. It’s great for people who are busy, or who just don’t like to workout. I
got my Mom on the Ten Minute Trainer program and she absolutely loves it.

Do you have a question about P90X? If so, shoot me an email at p90xquestions-AT-gmail-DOT-com and I’ll do my best to help out!

However, there’s another major reason why you might want to give this popular home workout system some serious thought — the current economic recession…

In a time when people are cutting back on unnecessary expenses such as trendy gym memberships and expensive personal trainers, it’s nice to know that there’s an excellent alternative out there that will get you ripped without draining your wallet in the process.

While it’s true that you’ll spend a few dollars upfront to buy P90X and a few needed accessories such as the P90X chin-up bar, the money you’ll save in the long run when compared with a monthly gym membership is astronomical. In addition to eliminating those expensive monthly fitness club dues, working out from home with the P90X program will also help you cut back on gasoline consumption as you won’t be driving back and forth to the gym each day.

The real beauty of a workout program like P90X lies in the fact that it’s truly possible to get a world class workout from home, for free — all without bulky fitness equipment, wasted travel time between home and gym, and overpriced gym fees.

So, if you’re trying to cut back on monthly expenses and are still paying costly fitness club fees, try P90X instead. Your wallet and your body will thank you.

In a nutshell, muscle confusion is the secret sauce behind the P90X fitness system. It’s an an advanced training technique that accelerates results by constantly introducing new moves and routines into the workouts. The beauty of this is that your body never plateaus. Also, you’ll never get bored!

Whether you want to bulk up, get slimmer, or just plain ripped — there’s an endless variety of ways to mix and match the workouts so you stay motivated during the entire 90 day program.

Between Tony Horton’s cheeseball humor and muscle confusion, the P90X workouts will always be interesting.

In this post, I’m going to talk about something that many people aren’t even aware of — how you can actually make money with the P90X exercise program while you’re getting into shape. Losing weight and getting fit is great, but it’s even more rewarding when you can get paid for doing it.

As you might know, I started working out with the P90X program last year. It’s been a lot of fun and to date I’ve lost more than 50 pounds — I even had to replace my entire wardrobe because none of my clothes fit anymore.

Here are a few shots of my progress just 49 days into the program:

The P90X program really does work like gangbusters, and unlike dangerous diet pills and fad diets, it is something that you can actually feel good about recommending to other people.

That brings us to the next point, and something that most people aren’t aware of — you can make money with P90X.

Beachbody (the company behind the P90X program) offers a pretty cool business opportunity that they call the “coaching program”. As a Beachbody Coach, you can build a home based business that will pay you every single week on customers that you refer to the Beachbody website. Also, you’ll get to buy all of your personal P90X products and supplements for a whopping 25% off and even get paid for letting others know about this opportunity.

Within the last year and a half, I’ve been able to lose more than 50 pounds and also develop a substantial monthly income through my Beachbody business as a One Star Diamond Coach. The money comes in automatically week in and week out, rain or shine, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

If you’re thinking about starting the P90X workout program, or already have, I can’t recommend the Beachbody coaching program highly enough. It’s a great way to get in shape and get paid in the process — sort of like killing two birds with one stone.

Getting started is super simple, and you can be up and running in just a few minutes:

Step 1: Click here to sign up. As a new coach, you’ll be receiving a Beachbody business kit with step-by-step training and marketing materials, 3 training DVD’s, and your own money making web site.

Step 2: On the signup form, select “No, I do not have an account yet” and fill in all required fields.

Step 3: After setting up your coaching account, be sure to read through the getting started info provided and keep your eyes peeled for a welcome email from me. I’ll be working together with you to build your business, and I’ll show you exactly what has worked so well for me (and even help you duplicate it).

Questions? Drop me a line!

Hopefully this has been motivating for you and provided a little glimpse of the potential this exciting program offers. I look forward to working together!

If you’ve recently seen the P90X infomercial, you may very well be wondering, “Is P90X a scam?” In fact, that’s the very question that I was asking myself not too long ago.

Due to the fact that Beachbody mainly sells P90X through their infomercials, it has the potential to plant seeds of doubt among those who have a higher developed and more sensitive “ripoff radar”. This is unfortunate.

If you’re in that camp, I understand. However, I’m also here to tell you that this program is the real deal.

Having said that, P90X isn’t an overnight “quick fix” or a miracle pill. It is intense. It will test your dedication and resolve. But if you’re willing to follow the program exactly as it’s laid out (and yeah, I’m talking about the nutrition plan as well), you really can’t help but see results.

So — if you’re on the fence and trying to decide whether or not you should order P90X, I encourage you to go for it. Everything is already laid out for you, all you have to do is put forth the effort.

Although this is one of the core philosophies behind the P90X program, many people have no idea what it really means. If you’re in that camp, read on as I’m going to explain what muscle confusion is all about.

One of the problems with traditional exercise programs is a thing called the “plateau effect”. Basically, our bodies adapt to fitness routines over time and muscle growth and progress is stunted as a result.

Fitness guru Tony Horton understood this problem and created a solution — P90X.

By constantly changing workout routines throughout the 90 day workout schedule, P90X constantly keeps the body guessing. As a result, this improves results and avoids the boredom factor typically associated with similar programs.

It’s been a while since my last P90X transformation update and that’s mainly due to the fact that I’ve taken some time off from my the workouts. I’ve done the occasional workout here and there and have been riding my bike nearly every day, but I haven’t been following the P90X system religiously for a little while.

The good news is, I’ve maintained all of the healthy eating habits and strict diet schedule that I learned from the P90X program and am now down to 145 pounds. When I started P90X last year, I was a chunky 198 pounds which means I’ve lost over 50 pounds to date! Very exciting to say the least…

Anyway, I’m getting ready to start the P90X workout schedule once again and will be starting all over with day 1 this coming week.

My goals this time around are a little different than last — since I’ve already dropped the weight that I set out to lose, I really want to focus on building some additional muscle definition and size. With all of the weight I’ve lost, I feel like I’m starting with a clean slate this time around and I’m excited to see the results.

Lastly — I just wanted to thank everyone who has left encouraging comments on the blog over the past year, you guys have really been an inspiration to me and I appreciate the support.

P90X Round 2 pictures, measurements, and updates coming this week!

First, I’ll give you the bad.

As of right now, there is no “traditional” affiliate program offered by Beachbody (the parent company and creator of P90X).

Now before you get bummed out, here’s the good news…

Beachbody actually offers (in my opinion) a much better alternative to a standard affiliate program with their coaching program (i.e. business opportunity). For less than 40 bucks, you can start your own Beachbody business that will allow you to:

Buy Beachbody products, programs, and supplements at wholesale cost

Make money by selling Beachbody products to others

Make money by referring new customers to Beachbody

Make money by referring others to the business opportunity and earn ongoing commissions from their activity

When you start a Beachbody business, you’ll receive a business kit, training DVD’s, and a web site loaded with products that you’ll earn money on whenever people order. Beachbody will pay you commissions on each and every sale that goes through your store and you get paid weekly through check or direct deposit.

Getting started is easy. Just click here to get your business set up and then drop me an email once you’re done (my screen name is “coaching” by the way). As someone who has built a nice little business with Beachbody over the last year and lost more than 50 pounds to boot, I’ll be happy to do whatever I can to help you reach your goals too.

Last but not least, here is a brief video that talks more about the Beachbody business opportunity:

Today was day 52 of the P90X program and my workout was back, biceps and Ab Ripper X. I really didn’t feel well when I woke up this morning, and that continued throughout the day…

I still worked out today even though I was feeling sick. The back and biceps routine is my favorite DVD, so I’m sure that helped motivate me to complete the workout.

Overall, the workout went well. I did feel the effects of being sick, but I was still able to get a good burn. I did Ab Ripper X pre-workout again today as I’ve been doing for the last few weeks, and I highly recommend it. I’m killing Ab Ripper X now, with the exception of Fifer Scissors… that friggin’ exercise still has my number.

That’s it for today’s update. For all of you who have left comments and sent emails about getting started with the program, congrats! In all honesty, this program can change your life if you commit yourself to it. Make the decision before you begin to do this thing the whole way (diet plan and all), and you’ll be absolutely blown away by the results.

Stay tuned.

Today was day 51 of P90X and the workout was plyometrics…

Plyo gave me some problems today, but I made it through it in one piece. The diet continues to go well, there really isn’t anything new to report in that department.

Listen, if you’re unhappy right now with your current weight, fitness level, or physical appearance — I urge you to do something about it. Get a fitness plan together, whether it be P90X or something else, and get busy.

You know, it can be pretty difficult to change bad habits. But once you stick with something long enough to begin seeing results, there’s no turning back.

I’ve spent a considerable amount of time over the past week or so appreciating the progress I’ve seen since beginning P90X, and I’m amazed at how this program has changed my life for the better…

Here are just a few things I’ve experienced:

Lost nearly 20 pounds.

My back is completely pain-free for the first time in several years.

I feel younger.

Noticed an increase in self-confidence.

Clothing fits better.

Feel more energetic.

I can outrun a cheetah (Ok, that’s not exactly true..)

Seriously though, make a commitment to yourself. Dig down deep and find that one thing that really motivates you to want to get into shape, and use that to get you where you need to be. It’s not difficult and it definitely isn’t rocket science, you simply need to have a solid plan and then stick to it.

I certainly have a long way to go personally, but if there’s anything that I can do to help get you off the fence and moving towards your goals — please let me know.

Don’t procrastinate and put something as important as this off another week, or month or year. Make this the week that you begin your transformation…

Well, I’m back from vacation and just started my P90X workouts back up today. The good news is, while I didn’t follow the P90X nutrition plan while I was away, I did eat clean the entire time (which took some serious discipline by the way!). Also, I did a lot of walking on my trip and I actually dropped several more pounds. I was pretty excited when I weighed myself this morning and read “179″… that’s nearly 20 pounds from where I was pre-P90X.

Today, I repeated the last P90X workout that I completed before my trip — chest, shoulders, triceps, and Ab Ripper X. The workout went pretty well overall and although I did feel very nauseous at the end, I managed to avoid getting sick.

Also, I took a break from the supplements while I was away so I started taking them again today…

Stay tuned!
