
Well, I’m back from vacation and just started my P90X workouts back up today. The good news is, while I didn’t follow the P90X nutrition plan while I was away, I did eat clean the entire time (which took some serious discipline by the way!). Also, I did a lot of walking on my trip and I actually dropped several more pounds. I was pretty excited when I weighed myself this morning and read “179″… that’s nearly 20 pounds from where I was pre-P90X.
Today, I repeated the last P90X workout that I completed before my trip — chest, shoulders, triceps, and Ab Ripper X. The workout went pretty well overall and although I did feel very nauseous at the end, I managed to avoid getting sick.
Also, I took a break from the supplements while I was away so I started taking them again today…

1Welcome back! I’m still bringing it every day, started logging all my food daily, which made the nutrition portion much easier. Still haven’t lost a pound, but have lost overall 9 inches, and 3% bodyfat in 18 days! Finishing up phase one this week.

2@JB: Are you serious? Those are some smokin’ results!
Don’t worry about the weight loss, just follow the P90X nutrition plan and keep up the intensity during your workouts and the rest will take care of itself.

3Yep, it’s a bit discouraging but I’m can see the difference and I’m wearing pants I haven’t been able to wear in quite a while. Also re re re calculated my RMR and decided that I should be eating at Level II not one as I have been since I started, I figured that if I ate less I’d see better results, but I knew even before I started that was a bad idea knowing that you gotta EAT on plans like this so see results, it’s just hard for me to eat that much food, but Phase II level II seems a bit more doable than Level I for me so we’ll see. I’ve heard really good things start happening in Phase II but as it stands I’m happy with results so far. And like you said, ab ripper X is getting better and better each time I do it.

4@JB: Yep, you definitely have to eat while you’re on this program. Glad to hear that you got the diet program adjusted.
In Phase II you’ll continue to see big results, and that’s actually when I started to really feel the benefits too.

6@Suzan: I got quite sick and then spent a few weeks last month traveling. I’m getting ready to make a cross country move in a week and will be picking everything back up as soon as I get settled in. Thanks for the comment!
