Beachbody and Tony Horton have released a brand new home exercise program called 10 Minute Trainer. It is a workout designed for people who are extremely busy and may only have 10 minutes a day to devote to getting into shape.
The 10 Minute Trainer program is great for busy moms, professionals, and anyone else who finds that working out is too time consuming. It consists of various exercise routines and a diet and nutrition plan which are designed to help you lose weight quickly and naturally.
Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer system uses a technique called “Super Stacking” and utilizes resistance bands for body toning and sculpting.
Instead of starting off with cardio and then targeting each muscle group individually, the workouts are stacked together. 10 Minute Trainer combines fat-burning cardio, total-body toning and sculpting, and abs workouts in one 10 minute routine.
If you’re currently working out with the 10 Minute Trainer system, please post a comment with a brief review. I would love to hear how it’s working out for you so far…

1I’ve been working out with the 10 Minute Trainer exercise program for several weeks now, and I’m already seeing some very exciting results.
I’m a 43 year old stay at home mom with 3 small children, and I find it very difficult to squeeze workouts in during the day. Since I bought Tony Horton’s 10MinuteTrainer program, I haven’t missed a single workout!
I highly recommend this for anyone who is busy but just like anything else, you do have to dedicate yourself to it and ptu forth the effort.

2I bought 10 Minute Trainer and love it so far! I’m not the busiest person in the world, but I really dislike long workouts. With Ten Minute Trainer, I get a great workout in each day and don’t have to waste an hour+ of my time or hundreds of dollars a year on an expensive gym membership. Thumbs up!

3I was hoping to get this program for my sister but wanted to know what the fitness level needs to be at before beginning the program or if anyone can jump right in.

6I am skeptical of weight loss programs however, I think this is a good one. I work in the offshore oil drilling industry and am not sure if the diet part of it is realistic. What would I need to do for the diet section for this program to work? If I can find a way to work the diet part of it into my everyday life here on the rig I would love to get the program.

7@CJ: I don’t think you’ll have a problem with the diet. Remember, you can work in a quick protein shake or meal replacement bar during the workday.
Whenever you do eat full meals, just make sure that you’re eating the right kinds of food. Stay away from the bad stuff and you’ll do fine…

8I haven’t heard anyone talk about results – does it work – the 10 day jeans promise? I know it’s short – but I want to know if it works.

9I have looked in a few places to see what kind of results people were posting for this product before I decided to get it … So far I have not seen anyone post anything about the weight they have lost … I am looking for some concrete numbers perhaps? Something like, “WOW! I lost 20 lbs in only 20 days!” or something to that effect … Other then that let’s hear some more responses!

10My wife and I have been doing the “10 Minute” trainer for 2 weeks now. For those that don’t have the program it is truly a good program to start and build up with. Will you lose 20 lbs in 20 days – not with just 10 minutes a day. Will you see results? Yes – Over a 2 week period I have lost 6 pounds and my wife has lost 5. This includes a change in our diet that is part of any exercise program. “10 Minute Trainer” is a good program, but to achieve the true results they suggest, you would need to follow 20 to 30 minute workout routines they suggest daily, which is 2 or 3 of the 10 minute workouts combined. For a motivational kickstart and proper exercise sequence it works!!

11I currently work out regularly using Turbo Jam and various Billy Blanks tapes. I am not looking to lose weight but I want to stay healthy and trim. This program seems to be geared towards beginning exercisers wanting to lose weight. I am wondering if anybody else has started these workouts in a situation similar to mine and what the results were. I would hate to go backwards in my workouts and fitness level.

12Hello everyone. I took very ill 8 years ago, and had 4 major surgeries over a period of two years. I was so sick, and am still trying to work my way back. As a result of all of this, I find I am tired, and I suffer from chronic pain in the legs, back. In addition to that, the my feet start to hurt after being on them for about 1/2 hour, and need to get right off them.
I would like to do something to help my body bounce back from all of this, gain strength, stamina, and loose weight.
I was looking at this program, as well as, others. I’m not sure if it’s worth spending money on this if my body, especially my core, isn’t up to the task.
Your suggestions, and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

13I have been doing the 10 minute trainer DVDs and the meal plan for 6 days and have lost 6 pounds. I do at least two videos a day, sometimes three. Since they are only ten minutes each I find it “easy” to do more than one. And trust me, you will feel it the next day, it hurt to laugh my abs were so sore. I have also been following the meal plan strictly, it’s tough but you get used to it. The videos are great because Tony concentrates more on showing you (via the girl doing it) the proper way to do the exercise (hence the fact that it’s “trainer”). I don’t regret buying these DVDs at all, everyone has 10 minutes (or even 20)!

14I think all workout programs have two things in common. You have to move and eat right to get results. If it takes a structured program for success, that’s fine, but you could probably create your own routines from all the knowlede you’ve gained over time and save some money.
Of course we can help motivate and inspire ourselves with select DVD’s and books. I use DVD’s by Gilad, Cathe, and Denise and follow a few cardinal rules of exercising. By that I mean exercise each day, drink plenty water, eat right and get enough sleep. Also, I believe, slow and steady wins the race, don’t expect to look like an infomercial model, those people are there to help get your money.

16Are most people buying the basic set of 5 dvds advertised in the infomercial or are you buying the deluxe set with the extra 3 dvds offered once go online to make a purchase? I’d like to know if you think the set is effective even without the extra purchases.

17I am looking at buying these videos. I have been doing Walk away the Pounds for the last eight months and have had good success, but am looking to whittle down the mid section more. My question is two fold: 1. If I don’t follow the meal plan can I expect good results and 2. If I only do one of these per day am I going to get any results? One last question, if I do decide to buy these, should I go with the begginer resistance or the heavy resistance?
Thanks!

18I have tried almost every diet, pill, exercise program out there. I have been 180 for the past two years, since I have had my 3rd child. I am 36 years old and have quit smoking… yay… however, it is true, you do eat more and you do gain weight. Does this ‘ten minute trainer’ really work? Am I just wasting more hard earned money? I work two jobs and do yard work continuously. I also work on the “gazelle” for ten minutes a day and … still not losing weight.

19@ darlene:
sounds like you should see a doctor to recommend a proper training program for you. there are modifications for every obstacle, but you need to be sure you’re being safe and responsible about ANY workout before you begin. a quick workout is likely to be erratic & intense to get results- it may not be the way to go…the 10 minutes may feel like 100 on your feet if they’re prone to soreness! get to your dr. & go from there. anyone can appreciate wanting to be fitter & healthier- there’s a solution for everyone.

22I have been doing TMT for about 42 days!! I have lost 13 pounds and 18 inches!! I usually do 3 of the videos everyday – sometimes at different times during the day – one in the morning- one in the afternoon – one in the evening – depends on the time I have available and my mood!! I have followed recommendations for food choices and have limited myself to 1200 calories… The results speak for themselves… You will get out of it what you put into it! If you are looking to workout for 10 minutes and then eat at Burger King, don’t waste your $$. If you are willing to do what the program says, you will have success!!

23I have completed week 3 today on the 10 minute trainer program. No great weight loss but a define increase in strength and stamina. The weight loss is to be expected replacing fat with muscle. I started with 1 10 min. workout a day for the first 10 days then progressed to 2 and will be going to 3 by the end of 4 weeks. I don’t thing there is anything magical here but it is a great starter program. I plan to use it and the deluxe 10 minute workouts for about 4 months then look for something more challenging maybe the P90X workouts but I am not decided yet.

24I just have completed a week with 10 minute trainer. I can see changes in myself and am toning up. I have been doing 2 videos a day. I haven’t followed the diet which I believe is unrealistic. I have just curbed my portions and eliminated junk and have been fighting those snacking cravings. I love the program and am sweating like crazy after it’s done.

25how do you set up the resistence band handles for 10 minute trainer??
Amy
September 18th, 2008 at 10:14 am
26@ Amy:
I would go with the lighter resistance bands. Reason being, the heavier ones are for guys. Most women don’t want to “bulk up” when they are working their arms and legs. The lighter resistance works great for me and I think it’s better for toning your muscles.
As far as the meal plan goes, it seems pretty strict. Most of it is common sense though – like portion control and eating a well-balanced meal. Seems like it’s low-carb and high-protein so I think that if you eat healthy and don’t stick directly to the meals you would be ok.
As others have said you will obviously see better results when you do more workouts in one day (common sense). I’m extremely busy so I only have time for one a day, unless it’s the weekend or a slow day for me. Haven’t been using it long enough to tell you the results though.
I do like it so far. Anything that gets your heart pumping within a few minutes is going to be good for you.

27I’ve read through all the comments so far but not really seen any good stats like others have previously stated. I work 2 jobs, have a long comute, raise 3 kids etc. and don’t have a lot of time. i just don’t want to waste my money (again) on something that really doesn’t give the results they say it will. Could anyone respond with what the actual results you have had with this program. Thanks!!

29hello everybody. i purchased the deluxe set 10 days ago, i highly recommend the deluxe, you get more tapes and more extensive workouts. I am by far the last person who enjoys working out. I am a single mother of 2 young children, and full time student. i have been doing three tapes a night and let me tell you…this is not as easy as you think it would be. Great workout and you will see results!! Just took my first measurements since i started and i lost 2 and a half inches off my waist as well as 1in and a half off the rest of my body, and lost nearly 5 lbs. Will make you work hard and sweat alot! Just stick with it and you will see results. I have looked everywhere for results from people and haven’t found too many which is why i did this. It’s a good buy!

30Just got the 10 min trainer and I am looking forward to losing 40lbs. I do know that this will only happen if I change my eating habits! However right now Eating is one of the few pleasures in my life! I love Mexican food and Candy! But I am trying and I invested in the DVD’s and I am on Jenny Craig I am thinking that something will work!

31Hi everyone,
I’m female and started dieting in April with a goal of loosing 25lbs. I started eating around 1200 calories and doing cardio (a dvd that I bought from Walmart). The first 2 months I lost 16lbs. Then….I hit the dreaded weight plateau…when you stop seeing results. I went for weeks without loosing and was still excersing and dieting. I was so depressed. Then, I saw the infomercial for 10 minute trainer and ordered it. I then read on the internet that resistance training can give your system a boost by building muscle..and muscle burns calories/fat. Well, I made it through the first workout and 1/2 of the second. My entire body was soaking wet. This thing will make you sweat! By the end of July, I had lost the additional 10 pounds and have kept it off. Although, I’m not as dedicated as I was in the beginning, I still work out at least twice a week. I am the BIGGEST skeptic and was afraid of getting ripped off but this is definately worth the money. And, hey, it has a 30 money back guarantee!!!! Send it back if you hate it. I think you’ll love it! Good luck to everyone.

33For anyone wanting to use this program, believe me it really does work. When I started this program a week ago I wasnt expecting what I got. I started on Monday and weighed myself on Friday and believe it or not I lost 4lbs. can u believe 4lbs!!! In the 1st week. My starting weight was 135lbs. and my goal is 110-115 I look forward to the results. I urge anyone to try it. It certainly helps get those last few baby pounds off that seem impossible. FEEL THE BURN!

35I’ve been doing 10 minute trainer now for 8 weeks. I’m not really following the diet plan or doing extra sets, just the basics (along with just trying to eat better, period). Results? Yes, and thank you. My wife and I do the exercises together, and with two people, there is no way one can wimp out of only 10 mins of exercise. I’m not perfect now, by a longshot, but 10 minute trainer has given me the confidence, if you will, to continue exercising. I know I’ll be doing it for years to come because it is easy, it is only 10 minutes, and right now, I’m more flexible and fitter than I ever have been in my life.

37I bought this program 3 wks ago and I LOVE IT! it’s an amazing program for anyone that HATES the thought of working out! …. I know I do
when I think about having to work out for 1 hr I get turned off and try to occupy myself with other things… but with this 10 minute videos I find myself starting with saying “it’s only 10 minutes” and doing 30 mins everyday! That’s all you really need, 30 minutes every day and you will see results… I’ve lost 4 lbs in 2 wks and I’m very excited to loose the rest. I also followed the eating plan which really helps… at first it feels like you’re starving yourself but then your body gets adjusted and you don’t get that hungry feeling. Both the work outs and the eating plan has to go hand in hand… there is no point in doing one and not the other. If you feel like you can’t do 30 mins, doing 10 mins or even 20 mins will help a lot more than doing nothing at all
I will be back to post more of my success on here and the first step to getting in shape is to “JUST DO IT”

I haven’t weighed myself yet…..so I don’t know on my progress….but I’m definitely sore…so I know it’s working….I’m not following her diet plan, but I eat pretty healthy anyway…..I recommend it to anyone looking for a routine that isn’t ordinary…and something that keeps you interested!

42I really want the 10 Minute Trainer, but I am hesitating to buy it because I don’t want to waste my money on something that wont work. I am trying to loose a maximum of 20-30 pounds, and I’d like to lose something near that by about June 2009. Will this program really help me do that? Or is it all hype? It sounds like it works for most people, but I want to be sure.

43I have been doing 2 of the TMT workouts a day since 10/20/08. I started out the first 10 days on the lean jean program. Lost only 0.5 pounds and 1/2 in on each of my measurments. Now, I am keeping to about 1200 cal and seem to have plateaued. I do cardio every day and then will do one of the others. I am also drinking so much water I think I will grow gills. Does anyone know why I am not seeing the results everyone else is? I am only eating white boneless, skinless chicken breast also.

52Hello there so i bought the 10 minute trainer 2weeks ago and mean while doing the workout i feel the burn and i sweat like crazy and the next day i feel the after effects and that motivates me, if i don’t feel the after effects of my muscle then i feel like i did do anything. so after the first 4 days or so i was still sweating and feeling the burn during the workouts but the next morning i do not feel the after effect.
what does that mean? so i stopped working out for a a week but i am starting up again today but would like to know why my body does not feel the effect after a few days, does that mean my muscles are not being confused enough? pls write back.

53Has anyone who used this program lost more the 25 lbs? I am interested in buying the TMT, but so far, I have just read about people loosing 10lbs, 15 lbs, 25lbs… I need to loose, at least 100lbs to get out of the danger zone. I have started a diet plan, but I know that if I really want to loose weight, I need to exercise. I am not a fan of gyms and just thinking about working out makes me lazy, but if I can see results in just ten minutes a day, I am willing to give it a try. But I need to know if this works for people who have more to loose than just 25lbs. Please let me know.

55I needed to lose about 50 lbs and no time for the gym. I started counting calories (about 1200) but the results were to slow. I bought TMT and did the lean jean program. I did not follow the diet to a “T” but I did stay in the 1000 cal. range. I lost about 7lbs. and about one pant size. It really works!

57Hey everyone!
I’ve been working out with 10-minute-trainer for about three weeks now, and I have lost 7lbs. At first the workouts were intense, and you do get a bit sore, but that is nothing a 10 minute yoga session can not solve. I have also been dieting and following the 1,200 cal rule (1,000 cals for me is impossible, but everyone is different!). I do not have doors in my living room, so I do cardio without the bands. I do not get as much as the intense workout, but I still break a sweat. 10-minute trainer is awesome, and I feel great after I’m done working out. Another thing, it is recommended to do 30 mins, but hey, 10 minutes is better than not working out at all. I have a very free schedule so I do 30 minutes based on the schedule that comes in the package. I hope this helps!!

60I’ve been using it for about 15 days 4 or 5 days a week depending on how sore I am and I’ve lost 5 pounds. My normal weight is 175 and I shot up to 215. I’m down to 210 now. Its great because although it is high intensity they let you know that its k if you can’t do every workout fully and they also show you easier ways.

61Just wanting to know if the work-outs are actually 10 min? Is there a warm-up and cool-down time–which is would be extra time so is the tapes actually 20 minutes?
Been reading everyone comments and I think its about half of the people say it works and half think its like any other exercise program you buy on-line.
Been thinking about buying it, but since I’m from Canada, it will be more than what its adveritsed so is it really worth it? But than again, claims we can return it back within 30 days, but minus the shipping and handling and of course my COST to return it!!

62Today is march 29th and I have ordered the TMT workout videos. I am really out of shape and know it will take me awhile to get to where I want to be. I plan on using the videos for at least 30 minutes 7 days a week. I will post again in 1 month on May 5th ( allowing time for shipping ) and let everyone know of my status.

64The importance of weight-bearing exercises cannot be stressed enough to increase metabolism, and when you get older and your metabolism slows down, it’s even more important to lift weights. Doing cardio raises metabolism for a couple of hours, but you lose both fat and muscle, especially as you age. Muscles are the metabolism-increasing powerhouses. When you lift weights you can increase your metabolism for up to 24 hours, which in turns helps you burn calories for a longer period of time.
I’m not sure about this dvd system, but it needs to have a muscle-building component to it in order to be effective at losing weight, keeping it off and building muscle in the process.

65I , like alot of people get caught up in the motivational infomercials. I have bought several workout programs and never stuck to any of them. 10 minute trainer is amazing. I have been doing it for 11 days now and can actually see some results in my legs. I can definatly tell that I am much stronger than I was when I first began. I am so excited!

66Sounds like a good exercise program but can you give some idea about diet? foods etc. I am a diabetic and need to have an idea of the foods.

67I’m interested in starting the 10 minute trainer, but i just had a baby 2 1/2 months ago and Iam still breastfeeding. Does anyone know of any issues that this would cause, or would this be a good work out? Specifically i guess i am concerned about any calorie reducing.

69I just ordered the TMT I am excited to get started. I also ordered the weight loss supplement that they offer for $1 with your order. Has anyone tried the supplements? Do they give you an edge when used with the exercise and diet program??? If you have tried them, how did they work for you???

70I’ve been reading everybody’s comments. The 10 Minute Trainer seems to be working for everyone who tries it. I’ve seen the infomercial inside and out and read every detail about it. This program looks legitimate to me. Nothing seems better than only 10 minutes a day.
I’m actually a student still in my younger years. My mom and I are not completely satisfied with our bodies so this program is perfect for both of us. I haven’t started the program yet but I’m looking forward to starting soon. I wish you all luck.

71I ordered the TMT last week, still waitin on it to get here. I can’t wait. I work 40+ hrs and week, I am a mom of a 4 yr old, I have a husband to spend time with, a car, house, and dog to take care of. And on top of that I am a full time college student…I want to loose weight, with the stress of my everyday life I have gained a lot of weight, and with my busy everyday schedule I don’t eat healthy, but I am hoping this works…I need to do something and fast…I know that I will not loose everything in the first week, but some results would be nice….Wish me luck everyone, and I will be doing the same.

72I recently found out I am pregnant, possibly with multiples. I have been looking at starting a quick and easy workout program. Do you think the 10 Minute Trainer will be too much for a newly pregnant mom? I am active and not too out of shape, I just “wintered” well.

73Today is my 6th day of TMT. I have not been following the diet but I am trying to eat better. I have no weighed myself since I started because I don’t own a scale. I will weigh myself tomorrow after a week of doing it. I have noticed a difference in my legs…a little more defined than what they were before but nothing huge! I will keep this up to fill in on the results.

74Hi, I am hoping to try this program too, but havn’t yet. If you find this too strenuous at first. Please try a gentle yoga workout for beginners, like Gaiams Yoga for Weightloss. That will help you gain balance, flexibility and tonicity in your muscles, and then doing this workout won’t injur you or seem sodifficult that you give up.

76I just got 10 minute trainer and actually tried the cardio workout for 30 minutes. i just replayed it 3 times…the third time i was completely out of breath. i do plan to do all of them but i seriously question how much 10 minute trainer does for your heart rate in just 10 minutes…
I’ve been doing turbo jam for 1.5 months at least 70 minutes everyday and lost about 5 pounds. I went from 120 to 115 and i’m 5′3, but now I’ve hit a plateau. the most upsetting thing is that I didn’t lose any inches on my arms and legs even though I lost the weight…
With 10 minute trainer I was hoping to change up my routine for some variation so that I get over this plateau. yes i know that spot reduction doesn’t really work but it’s just so frustrating…has anyone experienced it too when you lose weight but your problems areas don’t seem to change?

77Think of it this way – A 10 minute high intensity workout will get 1000% better results than nothing, while a traditional 60 minute weights/cardio may only end up being 50-80% more effective as the 10. As long as you are working hard, and the exercises are safe, you can’t loose with any amount of time you are willing to give.
Just remember the lessons Junior High School science, folks, you can’t get set something for nothing. If you want to get more results in less time, you have to work harder. If you can’t work too hard, than you have to work longer. And, if you can work out at a high intensity and for a decent time most every day, you will get absolutely ripped. Proper diet is assumed, here.
For example, I have been doing the power-of-10 workout (once a week slow reps) and it got me results, as good as more time consuming traditional weight training, but it’s not the same as when I did a 40 minute cardio-scultping routine every day. I got toned and lost some weight but I am not nearly as fit. Still, great for the time I put in.
Basic rule- do whatever you can as often as you can, and stick with it. If you are dissatisfied, try something new. Work as hard as you can for as long as you can and results are guaranteed!
Also, I see others here who seem to be trying too hard trying to change their basic body type, and you can’t. You can go extreme with either a lot of weight training for bulk or dieting to trim, but it will require a lot of maintenance. Is it really worth it? Love yourself as you are, because a healthy mind is more valuable and attractive than a healthy body.

78I used to do the P90X workouts and I love them and I love Tony Horton! When I got pregnant, I found that P90X was too strenuous for me and had to stop doing it. Now that my daughter is 5 months old and I am running a day home, I have very little time for a good workout. My husband came home yesterday with TMT and I did it this morning for the first time and loved it. I so missed the burn!! If you dont have the time I recommend TMT, but for an amazing work out that is a little more time consuming, definitely try P90X.

80I ordered the TMT a few months back and absolutely love it! I am 50 years old and was overweight and sick…….sick of being overweight or should I say obese! I started out with the WI fit and wanted something to work me out and this is it! I work out with it 6 days a week. I have lost 45 lbs and feel 20 years younger and have been told I look 20 years younger. I am going to be ordering some more workout videos from Tony because he has it all together when he works on multiple muscles at the same time! Thanks to Tony I will get to spend more and better years with my Grandkids!!

81I have heard a lot of great things about TMT and am thinking about giving it a try. The problem I have is my living situation: as a student, I live in a house (an older house) which is split into five separate apartments. I live in the attic apartment, which means that I cannot be doing an exercise programming which requires ‘bopping around’, which would be bothersome to the tenant below. Also, my space is limited (I have only enough room to do a pilates workout, so about a square of space where each side just measure my body height). On top of all that, none of my doors close properly and the frames are not very strong, so exercises requiring a door frame are out of the question. I also own NO exercise equipment apart from my yoga mat. My question then is whether or not all these things are going to compromise the workout? Or will only a few exercises be out of the question? If I need to skip one or two exercises, that’s no big deal, but obviously I do not want to be unable to use one or two whole dvd’s or workout sessions. Can somebody who has tried the workout give me some tips, since I have no idea what the real content of the DVDs is? Thank you in advance.

82After reading these comments I am going to go for it. The full P90X does not fit in my busy schedule. This is perfect. At 10 minutes a day I would urge everyone not to expect miracles. Just steady long term benefits.

83I’m a teenager and i’m sick of being over weight. I’ve watched the TMT infomercials countless times. I have wanted to buy this program for a while now. But i’m still a little worried… i’ve done lots of research on this and it seem for every good report or comment theres a bad one too.. I’m worried. I really want a progam that works. I want to lose inches and slim down. I would LOVE to go back to school a new person. Do you have any idea what its like to be a size 14 and be in high school? I want soo bad to be healthy and not have to be embarrassed with myself anymore. Does this product really work? I’m willing to do as many workouts a day that i need to. I will follow the diet very strictly. I just really need this to work. Does it? I would really love to know…
Are there better work outs? I know everyone has a different body and what works for one person may not work for another. But if TMT helps soo many people maybe it can help me too?
help please?

84@young girl: from what I have heard, if you follow the TMT calendar of three workouts a day (so a half hour/day) , the program can be great for weight loss when coupled with healthy eating. Every blog I’ve read of people trying it out said that they were dripping with sweat at the end of thirty minutes. I am hoping to improve my fitness level so I am going to give it a try regardless of my small apartment living situation. Good luck with whatever decision you make, young girl.

85i just purchased the TMT today online.
I currently attend school and work a full time job; and a part time job on the weekends.
Im 43; and tired of looking like a can of muffins that dropped on the floor… stuff is popping out everywhere.
i used to live in Fla and was running around on the beach in a binkini; and that was only 2 yrs ago.
i currently weigh about 160 and looking way to “thick” in the middle.
I dont feel old; and am attractive… dont want to dress old; because my body is where it is right now; and i have to hide all the extra me….
I am very excited about starting this workout and seeing results.
i plan on following the diet and doing as many of the workouts i can per day as time allows.

87This is to all the people who plateau.
If you plateau, you need to shake things up. Eat a bit more in your meals. Eat something different. The body get used to what you are eating and the calorie amount and only aims to burn that amount. Keep it guessing and it will burn more fat as it doesn’t know how much you will eat.
Also adding Organic Raw Coconut Oil and Raw Nuts (Almonds and Walnuts) to your diet can do wonders.

88I have been using TMT for two months and I am very, very happy with the results. I have two small children, and I have a very hard time finding time to work out, even with a gym across the street from my house. I look better than I have in years, and I’m nearly back to my pre-baby body. I usually do two workouts a day. I had trouble fitting in three, and I’ve found I am still seeing great results with just two. Eating well is an important element, also. I highly recommend this product. I’ve been encouraging my other mom friends to try it, also. Thank you, Tony Horton!

90I have worked out the TMT for six months and have seen good results. I started with one workout per day (have a bad knee) but have worked up and can do almost everything (squats modified) but it is a great workout. I have to admit, I was in pretty good shape and 10 minutes even caused me to sweat like crazy on some of the tapes. I have really enjoyed it and do more when I can, but still feel good when I just get in one routine on those crazy days! Good luck!

91Is this program appropriate for teens? Would like something that my daughter & I could do together. We both could lose around 15 lbs. My daughter is tall but seems to be carrying the extra weight around her mid-section which is not healthy. Although she is active, I’d like to get her on a program which would target her mid-section. And I could certainly use the help as well. Any restrictions for people with minor back issues?

94I am 19 and a college student and work a full time job. Obviously there is the freshman 15, and when I got back from the doctor yesterday and saw the weight on the scale when I stood on it, I wanted to cry. I was so embarassed. I have always been a “bigger” girl, but was in better shape when I was in high school and played sports.
I am ready to get serious. ready to eat healthier, work out, and set my ways. I am interested in the ten minute trainer, and want to see what some people who are young have had results with.
Thanks everyone!

96I started the TMT a couple weeks ago, and it’s great. It’s intense, but hey, it’s only ten minutes. At first, I couldn’t even make it through one entire workout, but now I’m almost able to get through 2 in a row.
Last summer, my boyfriend and I started P90X, which he loved because he’s trying to bulk up and he’s willing to invest the time. As for me, I just want to tone my core, arms, legs (basically look good in a bikini) without 1-1.5 hour workouts every day. (I just don’t have the time and/or desire to work out that much.) The TMT is great because I still get to work out with Tony (love him!) and it fits into my life. Highly recommended!

97I’ve struggled with weight battles for a long time. I’ve done Jenny Craig because I needed to learn about healthy foods and most importantly portioning. I really had no idea what I should and shouldn’t eat other than your basic “fruit/veg good; fried food bad” rationale. So I’m fairly certain I can provide my own healthy meal plan that isn’t so restrictive and be fine.
I have also had numerous personal trainers and I have to say that the TMT really follows suit with alot of what my expensive, in-person trainers have told me. 10 minutes is great, and you do feel the workout but the ideal way to train is to “stack” the workouts and do 20-30 mins at a time. You’ll get the maximum caloric burn in one go this way. I still sweat as hard and feel it in my muscles the next day, which is how I know the workout is legitimate- and it’s efficient! However, I recommend that you get your own resistance band, the one I got is way too tight and I’m afraid it will hurt my muscles. It’s ok though, bands are super cheap at places like WalMart. The great thing is that the TMT gives you something to work up to! If you can’t do some of the exercises now, keep practicing. Part of the excitement of this experience is to see how you progress fitness wise. That’s an important motivator for me. I don’t want to just run on a treadmill every day!

103Interested in the 10 minute trainer, but am skeptical. I am 47 and have worked out regularly for a long time. Am finding it difficult to keep up the same intensity and am having trouble (for the first time in my life) getting the weight off. I am by no means heavy, looking to tone up (all over) and take off no more than 8-10 lbs. Advice?????
Plus I worried that I will get bored using the same DVD’s over and over?

104I have been reluctant to exercise for years because I don’t have the time. My husband purchased 10 minute trainer for me and encouraged me to try it. After much reluctance, I started the program. I’ve now completed the four week routine schedule three times. I’ve lost 15 pounds, and a total of 12 inches. I feel and look great. The workouts are effective because the simple moves work multiple muscle groups at one time. I recommend this DVD set to all who have asked me how I’ve done it.

107I am a little confused by the posts. If people stick to a 1200 cal diet and do any excersice at all – presumably one is going to lose a lot of weight.
I did this a number of years ago and went to the local gym for a light workout and lost 30 lbs in a couple of months. If I interpret the posts correctly – if you can stick to the low calorie diet you will be successful (surprise – surprise). Eat a lot less than you currently do and excercise more than you currently do and you lose weight. No magic formula – it might be useful if it is motivating to people.

10810 min trainer is great! I have had mine for almost a year. i was doing the workouts, then tried some other things ( i like variety) because I am trying to find the perfect exercise program for me, since I am not able to workout like I did when I was younger. I don’t know why I stopped. I actually was doing some exercises from a few dvds and doing my own routine. I am 44 yrs old, love to exercise, eat healthy, but have had some trouble with neck and lower back. So I have been having a hard time adjusting to my new way of life. I was always “hard” on my body, so finding something with good results that I can stick with, was very difficult . I just went back to my 10 min workouts because it works. Tony is not boring, annoying and you get a great full body workout. Believe me, I have tried many dvds over the yrs. My goal is to work up to getting his P90X system. I am doing the 10 day lean jean to start, on my 7th day and I feel my skin is toned, feel more fit, not as tired in the afternoons. I am not going to weigh myself till the 10th day. The diet plan is a good guide if your trying to lose weight. I do the 2 workouts he suggests on the plan, and I also ad his p90x ab ripper a couple days a week, because I can’t do some of the exercises on the 10 min abs, cuz of my neck. This is great for people like me, but it is also good for people who don’t have much time or the drive to workout for hrs. Of course you have to be committed. I would suggest starting the lean jean, do the 2. Take it slow, more and more people get injured or do too much and get burned and quit. Take time to stretch and and deep breathing. It really does work.

109Ok, I read all 107 posts and have decided to order this program. I am a 38 year old single mother of 3 that works two jobs and has VERY little time for an exercise program, but 10 or 20 minutes I think I can do. I really don’t need to lose weight but definitely need some toning up. I will post back when I receive it.

110Hello, I have read almost all of these posts…..this, after having purchased TMT today. I tend to loose inches more than I loose weight. If going by a number I would like to loose about 20lbs. However I will settle for 2-3 dress sizes.

112I just bought the TMT today… I work in a store that sells it and it has been quite popular. I decided, after watching the infomercial in store 40 times a day, 5 days a week that I need to go for it. I’m going to start it tomorrow to the T.
I’m going to start a blog to monitor results…or post here.

113Like the rest of you, I’m interested in trying out TMT. I need to lose about 75 lbs. I’m 5″7, my knees might prevent me from doing squats, but I’m gonna to try. I know for a fact the P90X is too intensive for me. For us all I wish us luck. I will post once I’ve received my TMT.

114I am doing Weight Watchers and hit the gym but wanted to do something in the morning to break a plateau. I ordered TMT and did my first workout this morning. My only advice is this- if you are hoping or planning to look like the people in the commerical- its actually 30 minutes a day NOT 10. Each workout is 10 minutes long and 5 days a week its recommending you to do 3 of the workouts. It comes with a calendar schedule to do so. I really liked my workout this morning and will do the 10 minutes of one workout each morning to get me going but I dont have time for 30. If I had time for 30 I would be doing something On Demand. So just keep that in the back of your mind- the results they show on TV are actually from 30 minutes (3 sets of the 10 minutes workouts) I think you will still get results from 10 minutes a day but not like the people who get ripped and look like they did p90x

119My husband bought the 10 Minute Trainer DVDs a short while ago and I actually just started using them. Out of all the different workout DVDs I’ve tried, these are my favorite by far. I love the fact that even if I wake up a few minutes before my kids do, I still have the time to get a workout in. The 10 minutes go by so quickly, but you definitely feel it. I get the same feeling I get after a 30 minute workout! I love Tony’s attitude an energy. He really gives me what I need on the days that I don’t really feel like doing any kind of workout. Awesome product!

122Hello all!
I have been working out with 10 minute trainer for some time now, and it has been very beneficial for me!! It has helped me to get out of my sedentary lifestyle that had crept into my day to day life, and I am happy to report that with the 10 minute trainer program I have lost alomst 20 pounds, I eat healthier and am more conscious of being fit.
Be aware though that you cannot just do the 10 minute trainer and have the pounds fall right off. The modo is: Eat healthy, work hard. Thats totally the key.
I highly recommend the program for anybody looking at getting fit, it is a great way to kickstart your body to be healthy again.

123I am the typical weight loss junkie. I swear I’ve been on a perpetual diel for the last 5 years! I want to get to a toned and healthy weight. I have two questions. How many of the 10 minute workouts do you do daily and is working out 10 mins in the AM and then another 10 mins in the PM going to be effective?
